Look Development and Art Direction

These are some overpaintings I did for Sherwood where I worked as Head of Look Development in the shot production stage. Some of them are renders and others are matte paintings, but all of them were created by the awesome artists that I had the pleasure to work with. My task was guide the artists (texturers, lighters, VFX artists and matte painters) to achive the best results. You can see the before and after.











Sherwood Characters

Some turntables of the main characters I did for Sherwood where I worked as Lead of Look Development. Everything was done in Substance Painter including the wrinkles and the head damage of the Sheriff. You can see TV show in Youtube Originals. The first episode is for free.

Wolf (w.i.p) (updated)

 He empezado a modelar este lobo mutante para hacer algunas pruebas de texturas orgánicas en mari, substance painter y con la suit de quixel. En los proximos días iré actualizando el post.
I start to modelling this mutant wolf to make some tests of organic textures in mari, substance painter and the quixel suit. I will update this post in the next days.
 


Ahora la anatomia está un poco mejor y como podeis ver, le he cambiado la expresion facial... más cañero ;)

Otro modelo en lowpoly. Esta vez està modelado en max mediante booleanas y detallado en zbrush. El bake de las texturas está hecho con xnormal y el texturizado con la suite de Quixel, buffff... otro pedazo de programa.
